I can't see this fight happening in Nigeria really. Certainly not if there is a formal purse bid, but I guess they want to negotiate the location before hand.

I dont see the fight happening, Vitali will either back out again, or both sides price themselves out. What happens if Vitali takes office? Theres just too many obstacles in the way for this fight to happen, even if it does, Peter will finish what Travis Walker started in sparring.

I think it would be the first "HW Title Fight" ever in Nigeria...............the problem is, would the fans turn out? Are there a lot of boxing fans in Nigeria? You know Germany would sell out practically any venue for Vitali's return challenge...................that much is a given.

Yeah, Peter's a "national hero" in Nigeria. I'm sure it would be a big event. Fans would go home disappointed though.

Samuel is very underrated, especially by the Klit nuthuggers on this forum, Peter will be Vitali's toughest challenge since Lewis in 03, aside from that, Vitali will be as rusty as hell and will probably get taken out in under 6 rounds, Peters a powerful puncher, has a good chin, and just as tough as a prime Vitali, Peter is the not the kind of fighter you want to underestimate.

Yeah, right.. everyone knows you're the biggest Peter nuthugger out there. I'm gonna go report you to the troll thread.

I'll probably be cheering for Peter. I don't dislike Vitali nearly as much as I dislike Wlad, but I want Povetkin to be the one that takes away Peter's title and avenges Maskaev's loss. And a Vitali win is far from a certainity, for all we know he may be shot right now. Plus, it's still 50/50 whether the fight even happens. He was sure he would fight McCline too.
