    Might be a blessing in disguise if it means he gets in a few more meaningful tests before he steps up to World level. There's loads of good fights for a prospect around the weight and obviously the possibility of the Quigg fight.

    As JFT says it's a good thing in a way as Frampton isn't quite there yet, let the lad have another 2-4 fights over the next 12-18 months and then go for a title. Saying that though if Santa Cruz does beat this Romero guy then it's going to be tough for him to get a belt any time soon, with the only realistic chance being to go for the WBC,.

    Frampton is ready for Romero but not Santa Cruz. If this happens he should go for a WBC eliminator and then fight the winner of Tezzares vs Mijares.
