Brook will be too sharp and win a clear points decision. Don't rate Brook that highly personally it's just that I can't see someone who was as badly schooled as Devon was against the fairly plodding Kotelnik doing that well. Am I selling DA short here?
People often say that the only time Brook fought someone half decent he was shown up by Carson Jones. Yes that fight wasn't his best but he admitted that he didn't prepare properly. Seeing him in the shape he was in for his last fight and in the training camp for this one I think the people who are underestimating him are in for a big shock!
I hope Ethann is right, seems to have a bit of inside info. But boxers often make excuses, and "admit" to not being as prepared as they should have been.Really liked Henry Cooper, but "admitted" every time he lost. But lets not underrate Alexander either. As said,a lot of better guys than Kell has faced while being around the same age. Dont see anything wrong with predicting a split decision. For me,another way of saying its gonna be close, which I think it will be.Just hope its close in favour of Brook.
Alexander UD or late stoppage, i can see him catching Brook with one of his uppercuts, he hasnt been throwing them recently as much but Brook could be open to it
That is a fair point but you could clearly see in his next fight that he was in much better shape. Also, he was dominating and out boxing Jones until towards the end of the fight which would hint that it was down to his conditioning and preparation.
You could see that in fight that lasted three rounds, against a guy who spent most of the fight in reverse, before Brook smashed him? I think that's quite a bit of speculation. He looked good because he was in against a tailor-made opponent. Brook got tired against Jones because of Jones putting pressure on him. No point saying "if Kell had kept that up he'd have won a stoppage" - he didn't, it's just speculation. I don't believe that one 12-week camp can rebuild a fighter's stamina. That's not how the body works, in my experience.
