    yeah he's very deep in his career now, so if he really wants to change, he's gonna have to work real hard. Like you said, he could get the Mayweather fight if he just stays focused

    Berto can't be helped at this point. Someone could form a dream team of trainers for him and it would be of no help.

    To me, the key to trainer changes is the fighter's desire to learn and improve. Even the best trainers in the world won't help a fighter who doesn't listen and work.

    But, of the fighters Virgil has picked up recently I think Berto has the best chance to improve. He has the natural abilities that will fit well in Hunter's program.

    I really hope Andre Berto doesn't try none of that shoulder roll/mayweather style BS in his next fight. He is not good at it at all. He needs to stick to his old style, he was amazing with uppercuts and staying very close ranged with the opponent and landing bombs. He always overwhelmed his opponents this way.

    He would have beaten Ortiz if he was more conditioned. Ortiz beat him because Berto became tired in the later rounds. This is his fault.

    ============================

    All Andre Berto needs to do is train extremely hard to condition himself to immense heights and he'll do fine. He needs to have more fights and regain his confidence. I know he can do it.
