What a scare. All Pajkic had to do was land another big right hand or two and Fury would have been out. He's improved since, though.
Has he? The two fights he had immediately after Pajkic were much weaker opposition - shot to **** Rogan and Vinny ****ing Maddalone - and his last opponent was effectively a walking heavy bag. Get him in with someone who hits hard and punches back and we'll see how much he's improved, if any. He boxes a bit smarter but that's easy to do against Safetypin Johnson because he won't hit back.
I like Fury a lot more as I like Haye, but Fury won't make it to the 2nd part of the fight even if Haye has his running shoes on again.
1. Fury is nowhere near as fast as Haye. Or Wlad. The speed differential would be ridiculous. 2. The uppercut point was a joke. (Although you wouldn't expect the #2 heavyweight in the world to be doing that) 3. Chisora didn't try to wind him up. Safety Pin has terrible banter. Haye has decent banter, knows how to wind people up and is superior in terms of talent, skill and achievement; all he has to do is speak the truth "you're overweight, get dropped by D level fighters, went life and death with Dereck "Hands of Stone" Chisora and you have terrible banter". Maybe if he really wants to wind him up mention his father. Naazim owned him, that's why Tyson stood up and started shouting like a child - because he'd been owned: "more people recognise me (Brother Naz) than you". 4. What attributes does Fury have that are better than Cunningham? Please explain. 5. Weight is almost irrelevant. 3 weeks is not enough. Compare a 12 week trained David Haye to a 3 week trained Kevin Johnson Look, I get you're a big fan of Tyson Fury and more power to you but Tyson gets sparked and/or outclassed here. He's simply not on the same level, his size won't make a difference. Your loyalty is admirable though.
If Haye is making a serious boxing comeback rather being just a celebrity trash talker only wanting quick cash making klit fight then it surely won't be long before Fury starts running his mouth and makes the fight happen. I say Haye by KO even though i like fury better
based on Glazkov I highly doubt it, Malik Scotts performance has been wildly over-rated too, both fighters looked like ****(Glazkov and Scott), Glazkov gave that fight away by not punching more than Scott won it with boxing skill...I thought Scott barely scraped by at least when Fury got dropped like a sack of **** he got back up and fought on, Hamer caught one decent combo and quit, Fury wouldn't exactly fight him the way Johnson did would he?
To be fair he never actually punched himself, his glove bounced off Swabys guard, it was funny but he didnt full on uppercut himself in the face And honestly, I didn't get Nazims point, of course more people would recognise Nazim walking down the street today in New York, Tysons point was that Steve had said he;d never even been on national TV before, yet Tysons fights were on national TV in the UK, saying that if they walked down the street in America more people would recognise Nazim, no ****, but maybe not after this fight eh plus Nazim also said "If you're not a heavyweight, why you fighting a guy whos not a heavyweight?" huh? Tyson said nobody else wanted the fight then after the press conference, Nazim is CLEARLY getting wound up by Tyson, to the point where a reporter points out "you're criticising him for getting wound up, but look at you" then his son I believe, threatens the reporter for pointing with his finger  Nazim even once again says (more animated this time) "Why are you fighting my guy if he's not a heavyweight?" and Tyson calmy answers .."I've already told you why, because nobody else wants to fight" If Tyson was the one wound up, why was Nazim the one constantly repeating himself? and getting more animated each time? To me it looked like Tyson was getting wound up by the Cunningham groupies hollering and shouting at him from the background, like Nazim had just delivered a zinger watching it from a neutral perspective as Tyson has only started to grow on me very recently and I do like Steve Cunningham, to me it seemed like Tyson made them very aware that he did indeed "mean business"
1) In terms of foot speed Haye is faster than Fury, Haye also throws a faster single power shot, but Fury throws the faster combinations, watch the Johnson fight. And Fury does have good foot-speed for a 6ft 9 Heavyweight. 2) I know you were joking about the uppercut, but the point is it was a few years ago. 3) Chisora tried and failed to wind him up, Chisora looked surprised at how unintimidated (think I just made that up) Fury was, watch the press conference again. And banter doesn't win you a fight. 4) Fury can fight inside or outside, can throw combinations, has a better chin and more power than Cunningham. 5) Weight to a certain extent is irrelevant, but Johnson was at a low weight, went 12 rounds and said on multiple occasions that he was in fighting shape for the Fury fight. I don't see how you can argue with that. Johnson will know his own conditioning better than anyone. I am a big fan of Fury but I'm not biased when discussing him in fights, you think Haye will win that's fair enough, Haye would have a good punchers chance.
great 8 HW belts plus some extra WBAs theres not that many excellent fighters between cruiser and HW currently
May never happen this one but if it does, can't see Haye being active enough to build up momentum to win this.Fury IS fairly active. The 2 biggest opponents David fought were Valuev{slower than Fury and maybe not as ambitious}and Wladimir, who dominated him.Fury appears hungry for success, and this next fight will tell us a lot. If,as he says,he takes Pulev next, this will be the real yardstick. If he wins,I think he could be a future world champion capable of beating anybody in this division.
