tips, examples, the follow up? i find that whenever i feint, the general reaction would be to take a step back rather than freeze on the spot , i sort of dont really know what to do when it happens because im too far out of range to really take advantage of it.
Just watched Trout-Cotto. Jab-midrange right uppercut feint while stepping in-turn feint into chopping straight right to the body That blew my mind, haven't tried it but it feels like it would work very well.
Watch Buddy McGirt fight. He would feint with his feet, his knees/legs, his shoulders, hands, every part of him. That is the great purpose behind the use of mirrors; you can see what your feints look like. You see what an opponent sees and you can then deduce what his reaction is likely to be. That is how you know how to follow-up a feint you make.
Cotto-trout is a southpaw vs orth fight matchup obviously so I'm not sure what one you're talking about. This seems interesting can you elaborate this more?
Trout was doing it to Cotto. I was pretty high at the time but I saw it twice. I reversed the description to make it fit an orthodox fighter.
