Usyk hops around and puts in the right jab, taunting Medzhidov with it from beyond his reach. Quick combos by Usyk. Medzhidov shoves him backward and launches a right hand to catch him before he can move laterally. Usyk is grazed, but keeps bouncing around confidently. Usyk ducks a jab feint but gets hit with a right across the beltline as Medzhidov dips forward. Usyk flashes out a long combo into Medzhidov's face while jerking his own head back and circling. Combination work by Usyk threading in and out with nice defense, head movement and footwork.

Round 3

Medzhidov fires a right to the body and hits Usyk in the right thigh. Usyk is down. No KD. His leg seems to hurt, and he is shaking it as he gets up. Medzhidov keeps moving forward, now catching Usyk's flurries on his straight vertical double pillars and putting in jabs to the stomach and up by the knot. Usyk is bouncing more vigorously on his leg as time bears on, "walking it off" and regaining comfortable use of the leg.

Round 4

Usyk is galloping right, putting in the jab, boomeranging left and dropping in corkscrew lefts, just keeping Medzhidov off balance and under attack from various angles. Medzhidov keeps the jab flowing steadily, turning himself to square up and get a fix on Usyk but never quite able to get more than one touch in a row.
