    No.

    Maybe an obscure paper belt.

Arturo Gatti does better than some people think in H2H matches, but really only at 130lbs were he had a huge size advantage.

At 140 today he would be brutalised by most of the top fighters. LM, Garcia, Judah, Peterson and more would all beat Arturo Gatti.

He would probably beat Khan. Maybe Judah or Peterson on an off night, maybe even Rios.

I think he would be pretty competitive and would certainly make these guys earn the victory

fringe contender at best a paper belt holder. He wasn't a elite fighter and there is too much talent at 140 for him to be the king or be at a high level in it currently.

I dont know how many of the cream of the crop guys he would beat but man there would have been some fun fights.

I think matthysse might be too powerful for him but it might be fun while it lasted. Same goes for Garcia.

But the one i like best is peterson. I think Lamont would land a lot of shots and push the action but his power isnt as potent as the other two and therefore gatti would be able to hang tough for longer and as long as gatti is in there swinging he would have a shot in this one and it would be action packed.

I know maidana is gone to 147 but how good would maidana v gatti have been.

If Khan's chin survived like it did Maidana style, then Khan would get a very elegant looking victory over Gatti.

Gatti would lose to all of them today.

Apart from the elite fighters from Gatti's era, todays era is more competitive.

agreed, gatti was action star, but he lacked good technical skills. His heart would hold up and make all those fights a war, but in the end the guys today are just better imo.

You guys are underrating gatti. A prime gatti could hang with any 130lb-135 and no he was not a "big" guy just 5'7 and skinny as hell with a big head. At 140 he would kill garcia and bam bam rios. He would go to war with lucas and probably out slug him.

Stop watching the 30 year old washed up alcoholic gatti that fought late in his career

Not to bring Floyd in the mix, but got to because it shows Gatti off. According to quite a few Floyd fans, Floyd only fights THE BEST! He fought and beat the Gatti so that must mean Gatti is an ATG.
In all seriousness he'd probably be competitive, and I'm sure he could win a title. Does Paulie hold a belt at 147??? Gatti could win one at 140...

I think Matthysse, Peterson, Khan all beat him

Garcia, Judah, Broner, Rios, Ruslan, im not sure... all winnable fights for Gatti.

Everyone else I think he could beat (unless someone skipped my mind)
