    Not so much of an excuse but Bruno's wife said something along the lines of "Can Tyson go home and be loved like my Frank?" after their first fight. Downright laughable which must have annoyed the hell out of Bruno given he was usually one to basically say after his losses "I just wasn't good enough". And thus no other wife of a boxer was interviewed post fight for years.

    Read that when Archie Moore beat Yolande Pompey that Pompeys manager said"You talked my man out of the fight" and Moore said"Yeah but I introduced a few punches into the conversation".

    read on here a few times Montell Griffin in his rematch with RJJ, he got stopped early and after said Jones just took the easy way out, ending it so soon etc.

    In the first Morales fight didn't Pacquiao blame that he had some blood taken a week before the fight that left him weak. :roll:
