Hughie Fury debut

you know fine well what I'm talking about, yes it was his brother, so the statement still stands.

I'm just pointing out that I like Tyson Fury and the BS has little to do with him, but more so the ****s that run, or should I say ruin boxing... so the same will be expected of Hugh Fury and hundreds of other also.

 

Hughie is Tyson's cousin lads. Peter Fury's son.

It was a impressive performance, by Hughie. He's got good skill and knows how to use the jab. Hope to see him kept active.

definitely Elvis. Hughie Fury is a throwback in terms of looks. He looks like he could belong in the black and white days. Has a real fighters face.

I stated that I'm not interested in HYPE or BS, which sadly for Hugh will probably be the case. WHY? because Hughies ****; NO!!!

because thats what boxing gives us nowadays - Hype & BS, too, too, too many fighters over exposed with nothing to back it, just protected and hyped along but sold to us as greats.

Nothing to do with the lads personally, it's the promoters, managers and the bought and paid for sell out press.

Right so would it be better if there was just no hype at all for fighters? Of course not. Fighters need to be built up, that's what gets people interested in big fights. Get a grip and stop complaining about it, not like he's going to become a worse fighter from being hyped up is it? ****ing sad case.

 

I think Hughie looked better than Tyson did in his first few fights. It took Tyson a few years to really become the fighter he is now, and the turnaround began when his conditioning really improved, so the signs are promising for Hughie. He looked composed, which is a good sign, and I thought he put his punches together well, although his shots were a bit wide at times. I was impressed though. I liked his movement too and he really doesn't move like a fighter who is so tall. For an 18 year old, he has a lot of ability.

His physical conditioning will improve in time too, which is good. He's a huge lad for 18 and he should grow a bit taller too, but adding muscle will be beneficial. All those things come with age though, so it'll be interesting to see what Hughie looks like in a couple of years time. I think he'll be in better condition and if he is, that'll make him a superior fighter.

Very promising debut. Hopefully he learns from the mistakes Tyson made in the early stages of his career and he progresses steadily.
