Fury v Cunningham

I can't see Cunningham troubling Tyson at all. Fury's too big and as long as he stays disciplined and boxes to a game plan I can see it being the same kind of fight as the Johnson fight. My only worry is Tyson'll come out swinging to impress American audiences and get caught flush.

 

USS was lively enough last time out so I don't think it's a mismatch. Pity he doesn't have much pop though and I think this has Fury UD written all over it.

 

I think his best shot to trouble Fury is to circle on the outside and counter punch and try use Fury's height against him.

I hope and would like to think Fury presses forward working the jab to head and body and cutting ring off and applying mental and physical pressure to The U.S.S. and slowly break him down. Peter's kind of stated that they know they have to make this guy fight because i can't see Steve bombing forward's for obviously reasons. I think Tyson's got to be focused it's not a knock over job because Steve's a good operator and experienced but i think he will soon realize HW's are Tyson's size and Tyson can box and fight.

I think Fury will stop him late or win wide on the cards.

 

USS is tricky and will showcase Furys improved skills even more.

 

USS Cunningham lacks serious strength and is fragile in my opinion. In all of his fights that go 12 rounds his legs look like jelly come the mid rounds, and in general he just looks like a fighter who can easily be pushed around. Even if a punch does not land cleanly, or hits any part of his body! His whole body seems to fling to one side! And that was against Adamek! USS Cunningham is a good fighter technically, has some athletic ability. But he does not have the strength base, speed, athleticism and power to bother Tyson Fury.

Seriously! This could be a short night, a complete destruction.

 

If Fury's definitely the real deal he should beat Cunningham no problem. **** taking the safety first approach like he did against Johnson, he ****ing dwarves Cunningham here in height and weight. Tyson should really pour it on him and make a statement to the US audience.

I'm not saying Fury should fight like a loon and completely neglect his defence like he's done in the past, I just mean he should fight with no respect whatsoever because Cunningham should be too small to hurt him. I see Tyson leaning on him, tiring him down and then really starting to bounce him around the ring. Expect Steve's corner to pull him out in one of the last few rounds after he's taken quite a bit of a beating.

If Fury can't stop Cunningham or at least hurt him bad then it raises seriously doubts as to whether he could really challenge a Klitschko. I think he'll do it though.

 

Cunningham will win every round. Could be a UD but could see Tyson getting DQ'd as he is so frustrated.

 

Fury should stop him. Cunningham's been in trouble quite a few times at cruiser, so i can't see him being able to last against someone of Fury's size.

 

If Fury doesn't get the KO he should be dipped in a drum of tar and feathers then paraded down 7th Avenue.

I think Fury will win in 7 or 8 rounds.

 

It will be a good fight and it's a really interesting test for Fury. But we're just going to have to see how much of an impact the size difference will make. I'm afraid that Cunningham doesn't have what it takes to compete with a natural Heavyweight.

 

Could be a very tough fight for Fury is Cunningham stays out of danger. If this is the case I expect a close UD for Fury, if Fury catches him and hurts him and Cunningham survives it could be a wide shut out but of course if Fury hurts him and capitalizes on it he can stop him, I'm predicting Fury will be able to land but I'm uncertain he'll finish him. Let's remember Cuningham is a former cruiserweight champion and a top 20 contender.

 

Fury ko Cunningham's chin isnt great plus Fury is massive and will hit the hardest he fought
Cunningham will do decent but as soon as he gets caught hes getting stopped

 

I think Cunningham has been weighing in at around 14.5 stone as a heavyweight.

Fury will come in around 18 stone and is adding muscle mass with each training camp.

Fury is also 11 years younger than him and 5 inches taller with a huge reach advantage.

Fury KO is the likely result against a Cruiserweight in all but name. Albeit a very skilled & experienced one.

Fury has taken flush shots from big heavyweights like Firtha (6'6 & 18 stone) so I don't think USS has much chance of taking him out.
