The p4p concept is flawed beyond belief. Heavyweights and the bias.

For me the P4P concept is just to compare fighters' resume and accomplishments across the weight classes. The guys in the lower weight classes has the luxury of being able to win belts in multiple divisions, which obviously boosts your P4P ranking.

I think the whole p4p thing is really just about who is the biggest draw. People also refusse to acknowledge heavyweights as a pound for pound number one as well.

One thing you have to remember about heavyweights is that they generally hit harder p4p than lighter fighters. Those testswhich record punching power prove that.

Pound for pound should be about who's the best regardless of weight class, That means that heavyweights and minuminweights should be included if that boxer is among the best.
