He should probably consider either hanging em up, or taking a couple of years off. The injuries are not going to improve unless he commits to giving them time to heal.

Or, maybe they are just excuses at his point.

If he is going to stick around, he should give Chisora a rematch. Both men could use the win.

    Very disappointing.

I'm not trolling when I say that Chisora has ruined Helenius he's never been the same. I watched the fight again the other day and Helenius injured himself somewhere in the middle of the fight and got a proper beating from Chisora. After that his career has stalled.

    Sucks to have soft hands....

SRL said he always had hand injury problems, and rarely was able to fully commit his shots....

Seems like Donaire suffers the same with his left

Helenius was never any good. Chisora practically swept the entire fight. I'm not kidding. He went won 12 rounds, maybe 10-11 at the worse.

He's ****. Plain and simple. I'm really tired of his excuses. Chisora whoops any version of Helenius.

Chisora owned this kid and knocked all that "next heavyweight champ" hype right out the door. He hasn't ko'd anyone in a long time and the guys he did KO were fat and/or old.

Well, Helenius clearly won, but what a poor performance. His shoulder was fine, but apparently his wrist took damage.

Maybe he's going to be one of these fighters plauged by injury. Either way I've never really been sold on Helenius. It's only a matter of time before someone bursts his bubble.

I heard Helenius had shoulder surgery, sucks for him. Seems he stalled and is way off from a title shot these days. Sprott gave him all he can handle and that's saying a lot about Helenius' current potential.

Helenius definitely needs to sit down and have a chat with his trainers about what his next move should be. He already took a lot of time off without any training and he still seems to be having trouble with recurring injuries. I like Helenius, but he just isn't the same fighter without the threat of his power. I think retiring at this point would be a bit drastic, but he definitely needs to figure something out.
