Stig would be a good win for Ward and a fight he'd easily win

I'd rather see Ward move up and fight the Pascal/Bute winner which will most likely be Pascal.

If there was a fight to travel for and silence critics this would be it. perfect cherry pick when you are too high profile to get robbed and you have every intrinsic in ring advantage to boot.

if it makes business sense, then yeah, why not. but ward likes to cheat his opposition with illegal tactics with the ref on side as well. he is not going to travel when he has this kind of set up.

 i hope you're being sarcastic? yes, Germany is bad, but nowhere near as bad as the corruption in America. cheating IS a sport for them.

If Goosen can get him neutral judges and refereeing, why not go get an easy payday? He's so far above any of these guys in class. Barring a lucky shot or bad judging, it's easy money and a chance to get international exposure.

True. There should be zero American or German judges and the ref should be English or something. If they can get a neutral fight it would be big in Germany, but I think Ward is better off with a Froch/Kessler winner rematch on their home turf to prove a point. Or go get someone at light heavy.

Isn't Ward the "Lion" of the division?

Exactly why does he have to act like a challenger for you?

I wouldnt hold it against him if he don't go out of his hometown to fight, but i wouldnt mind it either - germany, britain, or denmark

yeah... though most are expecting and waiting for him to move up, i wouldnt mind seeing him tackle a few more SuperMids

Bute, Stieglitz, Groves, Degale, rematch or two...

I like this. Even if Ward did go to Germany, it would shut a lot of people up.

Ward would be a huge favorite but the fight would not be that easy. Stieglitz is a machine. He can walk and hit for 12 rounds and afterwards have a second fight. The guy has a top condition. I agree that he may be a class below Froch and Kessler. However, yesterday he showed that he has a punch (seems to have improved in that area) and he was incredibly active. He was all over Abraham (which may not be that difficult but I had not seen such a stellar performance by Robert before).

Ward is a different foe - but Stieglitz being a walk in the park for him? Well, I don't know...

Why would Stieglitz be the challenger? :huh It would be a unification fight.

Stieglitz will be KO if he faced Kessler or Froch.
Maybe even Ward would win on KO.

Ward should fight Kessler in DK instead.

I hope The winner of Froch - Kessler gets a free win against Stiegz..

Its a easy win for Ward, Froch or Kessler and not bad for resume...
