Would you like to see Andre Ward move up to 175lbs right now ?

Doesn't matter. 175 is a terrible division. Whatever he does there is nothing out there for Wardkke. He is the most boring fighter of the last 70 years quite possibly and despite being the 168 champ is totally irrelevant.

 

Maybe stick around at 168 for the Froch/Kessler winner in a big money fight,then rock on up to 175.

Clean up that division like he cleaned up 168

 

A rematch against Froch. A fight against Bute, even a fight against someone like Peter Quillin, Canelo Alvarez and or Sergio Martinez is an option as any of these guys could move up 8 pounds and challenge him.

Ward is in the best weight class right now. It's an extremely deep talent rich weightclass and he should clean it out entirely. There is no one at 175.

 

Depends on where the big money fights are and where the best risk/reward is.

I get the feeling Ward is less likely to get KOed at 168 than at 175 and the big names can be convinced to boil down to face him at 168 or at catchweight (see Dawson).

Froch, Kessler, Bute... none of them would refuse a fight against Ward at 168.

The rest can be convinced to go catchweight, I think.

I want to watch Froch 2.

Then I want him to go down to 160lbs, simply because he has nothing left to prove. Just like Roy Jones has nothing left to prove fighting now. Providing Ward doesn't feel too drained, it's actually a good move.
Ward should at least seek catchweights at 164lbs against 160lb opponents.

There's not much to say about him if he's beating easy opponents, it's just a payday for him and as a fan, that's nothing to do with me really...

If he moves up to 175, who will he fight? Remember that he already beat Dawson. I would like to see a rematch at 175 but it is not a highly anticipated fight.

If he fights Hopkins, his critics will say he fought an old man.

Nathan Cleverley? Is he still holding the WBO title hostage?

I think right now he still has options at 168, obviously the Froch-Kessler winner, maybe Stieglitz or guys like Degale or Groves if they can win a belt or beat a real top contender.
Then again, a fight with the Bute-Pascal winner would be pretty big at 175. Or Stevenson if he can spring the upset against Dawson. First things first though, there will be a lot of demand for Ward-Kessler/Froch 2 and i think he should take care of that before moving up.

 

No, he already beat the man at 175 what else does he have to do up there? And who else is going to fight him really? He needs to cut weight, go down to 160 and make a name for himself. Beat sergio, call out floyd, take that #1 p4p. Yes, he beats Floyd.

 

Dude he annihilates all of them and gets a fraction of what he could get fighting bigger names at 160. Especially Kovaliev, he would ****ing destroy this guy and probably ruin his career.

 

This is probably the only rematch I would like to see. Froch still gets beat down however.

He already beat the man at 175. He already cleaned that division up imo. Ward beat Dawson, who beat hopkins, who still as an old man beats everyone else. And Bad Chad would have beaten Pascal via KO had that headbutt not happened . Pascal is a front runner and his fight with Hopkins pretty much validates my point.
