Maye , but it seems his issue is mental and no promoter can help him with that.

I can see the Hopkins fight happening unfortunately.

I think he should try and get Martinez to move up, or Chavez Jr. He schools them both mind...

I dont take issue with the departure as nobody really knows for sure and its a free world.
I think Dirrell has already shown he cannot deal with Ward as Ward likes to hold and maul and Dirrell has already shown against Froch he struggles in those close quarter sort of battles.
I think if Froch fights hard he is a problem for any SMW, but he doesnt do it often enough. He did it against Pascal and against Bute, but there are times when he can just do enough or not enough like against Johnson and Kessler.
I think Froch/Ward was a close fight and not a schooling.

G Groves may develop into a problem for Ward. Groves has experience in beating undefeated Olympic Gold medallists as well as having footwork and a punch, but I think Groves needs to have a step up first and then another test

Bute agreed the deal as Ward said it wouldnt happen as he wanted Bute to fight some other fighters first.
Ward lost a big opportunity to sparkle

What deal? You saying a deal was made. Prove such a cliam... How do you know Ward would not of fought Bute had he not signed himself away for two years?.... Do dont, you just asume so.

Kessler's trainer Montoya a couple of days ago:

We want Ward, and we have wanted Ward since that horrible 'fight'. This is the second loss in Kessler's career and the second time he underestimated an opponent. Against Calzaghe he sprained a rib some weeks before the fight. This meant that he could did almost no road work. When he worried that he would not have much stamina, his then trainer Olsen said "Don't worry, you will beat Calzaghe in less than 6 rounds". We know what happened. Kessler had exactly air for about 6 rounds. The second time was against Ward. This was more understandable as Ward had done nothing. We want a rematch, and I personally guarantee that Kessler will set things straight if that rematch happens. We want the fight in Copenhagen, and that makes the most sense. Financially we can fill a huge stadium with perhaps 50.000 people. In the US Ward attracts virtually noone. In fact, he would not attract butterflies even if he was covered in honey. But if he is too scared to give us home advantage then we want a neutral place. We want the fight. I don't know if Ward does, but I think his promoter is shitting himself at the thought because he knows that everything was stacked in Ward's favor in the first fight.

I thought you meant he made a deal with Ward.... He still signed himself away from Ward with a two fight deal with Froch.

He signed himself up that if Froch beat him he could have a rematch if he chose, not a 2 fight deal if he won as I understand, and the Froch fight happened because Ward didnt want to face Bute and said Bute had to fight some other fighters first

Joe beat an unwell , slow , sluggish Kessler who faded early due to injury's. Its undeniable. Today Kessler is at his peak and is the best version of him

Ward could not of fought him anyway. He was out for almost a year from a broken hand. Bute signed a two fight deal with Froch and took such an unexpected beating he decided he wanted no part of the second fight.

I will have to respectfully agree with you...Groves will never have the skill set, talent or ring IQ...to match Ward let alone...beat him...
Furthermore I lean more towards Degale, that fight could have gone either way 1 point split difference...so I can except St George winning....

Sorry Ward completely dominated Froch....but he also exposed 1 of his clear weaknesses...

Ward is so competitive & eager to dominate he takes unwarranted risks in every fight...yes this is boxing so you will get hit...but I have seen Ward vs, Froch, Kessler, Bika, even Dawson... he has shown opening in these fights that only a fighter with elite skills, AND youth/athleticism...can take advantage...

The only 2 I could have argued to beat Ward are Dirrell & Bute (Before Froch)

In fact if Ward fought Bute in Montreal or Les Vegas that would be a different setting against a undefeated confident world champion....WHO possessed an EQUALIZER to Ward's skill, athleticism & ring IQ...that is POWER legit that can be sustained over the course of a fight....But that was then...(PS I believe Ward would have broke him down late TKO 11).

Dirrell has always been the only true test....

In fact both Dirrell's will handily beat St George.

Ward didnt know he was going to be out for so long and lost the opportunity to face an undefeated world champ. Ward didnt want to commit to Bute and talked himself out
