wrong tactics yeah the same that made him undefeated. george hadn't gone past 4 rounds in 3 years. not many would make round 5 and ali was smarter & tougher than most.

How many of those fights prior to Zaire were in 80 degree heat (the fighters said it felt like 100) with high humidity?

Get a defensive fighter with a solid chin and he should do the job.

Johnson, Byrd, Young, maybe Machen, Walcott has an outside chance.

Plus I'd favour Louis and Tyson also.

    Honestly not too many

Not sure who could have taken the punishment to the body that Ali took without wilting

Not many would lay on the ropes and intentionally take body shots.

:deal the Ali fans need to realise that willingly taking brutal shots and tiring George out is not the only way to beat him as Lyle nearly showed us. I know that's not Zaire Foreman, however styles will always make fights.

Anyone think Bowe has a chance if he stuck to a solid game plan?

Bowe was exceptional at lying on the ropes and absorbing punishment. Doesn't bode well for George.

It should also be said that Bowe's defence was hardly his greatest attribute. This would result in George knocking him out,in my opinion.
