Surely Matchroom won'tlet the chance to get Joshua slip away? I'm not so sure on the Booth as trainer decision, don't think it's work out really. Get him with McCracken.
Yeah, McCracken is the perfect fit. Already worked with him, and McCracken's main guy won't have too many fights left you think.
Booth is all wrong for him I think golden boy must have coughed up the big £££ to get him Eddie aint stupid - why give joshua a 1million pound signing on fee when you can get a lot of the great britain podium squad for the same amount Frank wanted him bad aswell but with money tight he passed - I think he was hoping eddie would take him thus take a chunk out the sky money
No mate in the process of moving apartmet and slept on the floor last night so was half asleep while reading lol
Be interesting to see what TV channel he ends up on, if there's one boxer that could get terrestrial tv interested in him, it's Joshua. Whether that would be a good thing after the Harrison BBC debacle is another thing of course
Joshua is a hell of a risk for people wanting him to take him on especially if he is asking for big money.
im not convinved he would be worth the money he wants. he was lucky imo to win his first fight at the oylpmics against the Cuban and there is no guarantee he will transfere well into the pro ranks.
The reality is he has fought alot, if not all of the big names at amateur and would face pretty much the same guys again en route to every major title. He is the champ, now is the time to cash in. Plus, in sport you have a small window of opportunity. Take it.
I agree he should have lost the fight against Savon, but i think his style is suited more to the pro ranks.
Why didn't he go in the WSB? He's done **** all since the Olympics so it'd have been good experience for him if his plans are to turn pro in the near future.
it's crazy. it's exactly what the wsb would help with. giving guys pro/am experience at the big time for pay and on 5 time monthly basis. he can stay in the ams in some tourneyments but might aswell cash yourself in against world class amatuers at wsb. going pro now is just awful timing.
