Say Brook and Khan win their next fights

risk/reward is not good enough for khan to take it and i doubt it will be unless brook can build a real name in america and get some big wins

 

A fight that makes a lot of financial sense, in ths country at least, but very little boxing sense for the next couple of years.

Brook is looking to establish himself and Khan to re-build himself. A defeat for either would have a detremental effect on their careers.

 

@ HappyDrinks Bull****, khan knows biggest payday will be vs Brook, he will make a lot of money from that fight. A lot depends what happens over the next few weeks though. Brook wins the title and most likely will defend his title at home vs an average opponent. Khan should beat diaz and then wait to see what happens with garcia's fight and peterson's. Imagine if both guys were to lose? Khan may abandon 140 altogether and move up to fight Brook for a record payday. If Brook was to lose, then yeah Khan will remain at 140 for 2 fights minimum as there will be money to be made in rematches vs Garcia/Peterson.

 

Khan should still avenge his loss against Prescott too.

 

That's a fight that doesn't make any sense to me now.

We all know Khan would school him, it would be boring and the casual fans would moan.

 

I think he would too, but Prescott did better against Mccloskey (and won for me) than Khan did and until he actually does it, there will always be questions there, whether his chin would hold up against blah blah.
I see it as natural somewhat to an extent that a fighter should crave to avenge defeats, however easy it may be on paper now. Good for the record, mentality and fans. The casuals would watch it, even if they did moan about Khan schooling him.
