As pathmanc said, go and watch some of Kessler's earlier fights, then you might realise how ridiculous you sound, do you think anyone believes this 'Kessler is a late bloomer, he's at his peak now' nonsense  Let me help you out:

This was Kessler in his 'peak'

    Compare that to this Kessler:

Find some free time, and actually watch the fights, then you might realise how silly you sound, and you can actually begin to understand boxing :good

He looked **** against Joe. Slow and sluggish. He clearly faded after 6 rounds due to injuries..... He took his power up to LH and ko'd green who has never been knocked out, in 4 . He is performing better under Mantoya. If you cant see that you're blind.

Case in point, it seems you haven't seen Calzaghe v Kessler, otherwise you would know Kessler put up a great fight. Joe beat Kessler because he was better

He's performing better under Montoya than he did between Ward and Froch, but he's still not as good as was from 05-07, watch Kessler v Andrade, that is as sharp as Kessler has ever looked

This made me laugh! Kessler weighed in at 169.5 against Green, and Green himself weighed in at 171.5, so neither guys were true LHW's at 175. So in other words, Kessler weighed in at 2 pounds over what he usually does, and still hit as hard, brilliant :lol:
Oh, and Green was KO'd by Glen Johnson in the super 6 you muppet! :patsch

Not really, you should watch those videos I posted though :good

Kessler faded early, maybe you need to watch the fight because its as clear as day....Montoya -."Against Calzaghe he sprained a rib some weeks before the fight. This meant that he could did almost no road work".............................Johnson tko'd Green. Do you know what the difference is...Kessler put him to sleep, he did not get up.

Calzaghe switched up his game plan and set a pace that Kessler could never keep up with. Sprained rib yeah yeah, just like he was suffering double vision against Ward and Froch  Everything is great when you win, and there's always an excuse when you lose

Johnson broke Green down, and stopped him.b Green is nothing special, so stop trying to glorify Kessler's win over him, it was a nice punch and knockout, but Kessler's one punch KO of Markus Beyer was better :deal

Since this is the pinnacle of the SMW division since its inception (it is no longer the new kid on the block and only a regional division but actually draws top talent), i am excited to see what the greatest fighter in the divisions history will do. The only fighters in the history of the division I would favour over Ward is Prime RJJ and Toney . . . neither i consider as SMWs. Ward is the clear favourite (by a wide margin) over any fighter directly north or south of him. Not since RJJ has a fighter been considered to be at that level in the division. relish this time gentlemen . . . we are witnessing history.

just kidding guys! But seriously, this is the best the era has ever been . . . the problem for Ward is two fold. 1) Economic as I outlined earlier and 2) no one who can push him higher up in the ATG status. The two fighters (Dirrell and Bute) who had a shot at beating him, based on talent, have had major downfalls. Kessler has a chance in a rematch but he was so outclassed in their first fight it is very slim. Froch got whipped worse than Kessler. Tough spot for Ward to be in, he is the first fighter to beat all the top fighters in the division and now has limited options because of it.

So are you saying he had no double vision against Ward?...............It took Johnson 8 rounds to break him down and score a tko....Kessler one punch knocked him unconscious in 4....He wasn't injured when he kept up a healthy workrate through 12 to beat Froch...And how is Froch past best, explain that one?

Calzaghe was no dominant champ. He was a meaningless belt holder for the most part, ranked below Sven Ottke. Ward is a much, much better fighter who unified titles and became undisputed number one SMW in just his fourth World title fight. It took Calzaghe ten years to the same.

I can't say for sure either way, but what I do know is this: I've no doubt that Kessler was carrying some sort of injuries into the Calzaghe fight, sprained rib and broken hand are the ones I've heard. He was probably suffering some issues with his vision in the Ward fight as well, but I don't really pay it any attention. An injury free Kessler will always lose against Ward and Calzaghe, because Kessler is a very good fighter, Ward and Calzaghe are great fighters, they are on a different level, that's why they beat him, not due to injuries.

Kessler fought Green two years after Johnson. You trying to say Green was still recovering from a tko two years prior?

Did Froch get beat by Bute and retire? No. You are hypothesizing because you have no argument. Froch proved to himself and to everybody else with a brain when he blitzd Bute and Mack that he was far from past best...
Ive been watching Froch since he blew out Damon Hauge. You haven't. How do i know that? Because you made a claim before that he never fought on tv back then when he was shown on Setanta.
Its very clear that Froch has improved in every detail of his game. He keeps a black book that records his training regime and he's at the same level he was 10 years ago, only by his own claims he states he is "invincable" and feels he has never been better.
Are you disputing the very words of Carl Froch himself?

When fighters get KO'd they can lose punch resistance in the future, look at Roy Jones after his losses to Tarver and Johnson, he could never take a punch the same. Look at Meldrick Taylor after his loss to Chavez and so on, I'm not saying this is what happened, but it's a possibility

Ok, for starters, please dig up the post where I said Froch was never on TV around the time he fought Damon Hague, you won't be able to because you made that up

Carl Froch says a lot of things, he said if he fought Ward in Nottingham he'd KO him, I disagree with that, do you dipute the very words of Carl Froch? :rofl

Carl is still fighting well, but I think he should retire after the Kessler fight anyway
