Yeah that is who he's fighting, according to BoxNation and Boxrec. Decent comeback fight considering it could've been any old journeyman, this ones not too bad. Time for Del Boy to get some wins on his record again, he should try and get a rematch with Helenius, I think it'd be an even easier job this time judging from how Helenius has been in his last couple fights.
Yeah definately , I think couple more fights than take on helenius again .definately good to see him back in there with an opponent he should be able to get a win out of .
Del Boy's a good fighter when his mind's on the job. Was a bit disappointed to hear him recently say he's only interested in big money fights. He could be a world champ if he worked hard enough. Good comeback choice. Someone whose beatable but not exactly ****.
I just really rate him and when the Klitschkos are gone the division and the belts will be wide open. A rematch with Fury would be interesting as would any possible fights with Povetkin or Pulev. I personally think he beats Price right now and David Haye doesn't look like he's sticking around.
Nah, he really couldn't. He's a solid fighter but is rather plodding, has little power, is predictable with his pressure fighting and is unfortunately neither tall or quick enough to make up for these technical flaws. His "reputation" is basically based solely on beating a pretty awful 'prospect' in Helenius. He was dismantled by Haye, had marginal success yet still lost widely to an injured + shopworn Vitali and was beaten on the inside, his supposed strength, by Fury. The likes of Pulev, Povetkin and Chakhiev when he eventually moves up are far better all round fighters than Chisora and will pick up the belts left by the Klitschko's before he does. Both Price and Fury also have more stand out attributes which should take them further than him. Even in a ridiculously poor HW era like this, Chisora can't compete at World Level yet alone win a belt.
If Delboy wins this fight would this be his best win looking at Delboy record his best win is probably sexton, Chisora deserved a world title shot even less than Audley Helenuis counts as a loss
When the Klitschko's are gone most of if not all of the AM superstars like Usyk, Joyce, Dychko, Medzhidov, Joshua, Savon will have turned pro and all will be the same age or younger than Chisora. Does anybody really think Chisora would be better than any of the above when they have 15 fights under their belts?
That's why Fury is in such an excellent position, he is only 12 months older than Joshua (and I guess most of the others too) but will have had 25 pro fights by the time they turn pro against world class opposition like Chisora, Johnson, Cunningham & most likely Pulev ... He could clean up the division. I can still see a motivated Chisora briefly holding a belt with the experience he has accumulated. He is a dangerous fighter :good
