It's youre idea of German as what's wrong. In the past they would be various Germanic tribes who were usually white, blonde haired, then dark hair, than dark eyes, then different Prussian states with different dialects, now Eastern European and Turksih immigrants and dark skin.

Society changes over time. The only people who need a mental makeover are the ones who are using an 18th century static identity to identify the complex identities of the 21st century

My cousins on the ****stani side of my family who live in Norway tell me to this day your last name being Finnish would get your taunts like being 'gypsy' although these people share nothing (language, culture food) with that land for centuries.

stieglitz is actually of german descent hence he has a german name. there are like 3 million russians in germany and a good portion of them is of german descent.

boxing outside the mainstream in germany is not as big as in the us or uk. the only region where boxing in general outside of well known fighters is a mainstream sport is east germany because of the communist heritage paired with a lack of perspective for youths.


by the way sebastian sylvester was the last german german world champion before he lost the title to sturm.

 

I remember Sylvester kept pissing on Sturm in the pre-fight press conferences addressing him with his actual name of Adnan Catic.
