He wasn't speaking English like a boss...more like a guy who knows a few English phrases, but would get lost - which he did - if things got too complex. Cotto might be the only Spanish speaking fighter who could actually hold a sustained conversation with an English peaking person.

 

Mares, Segura, Mikey Garcia and Santa Cruz are better at that than Cotto.

 

Props for him trying to learn English, but he barely said a sentence, lets not get carried away.

 

Canelo = Pocho. This white boy was born and raised in Hermosa Beach, trying to imitate Spanish to collect those Mexican dollars. It's beyond ridiculous.
