A lot of Brittards seem to be under the impression that the Slapster was almost unbeatable in his prime....

In boxing history or just from when he was active?

Because Michael Spinks would damn near kill him. Actually so would a prime 160 pound Hagler.

His prime lay at 168 so i wouldnt pair him vs prime 175lbers as the comparison isnt that fair

For the record im not a brittard, im an american but was a huge calzaghe fan back when he was active

favor to beat him well the division is young and he ruled as a beltholder for a what half of the weight classes time of existence?

I think its safe to say Jones in all likelihood definitely wins

A younger Eubank, Benn, and Collins would have been fun as well

i cant say for sure that more than 5 guys have a really good or lock of a chance

Joe had a very difficult style to deal with

only jones as clear fav over joe.

other than that, prime joe would have a good chance or clearly beat guys like ward, toney, benn, mcclellan and others.

he would also have trouble vs a prime lh dawson. I mean he looked **** at sm, but when he is in peak shape at lh, than dawson is a monster. physic big, powerful puncher, athletic and fast.

At 168 Roy Jones is probably the only one I'd bet money on to beat Calzaghe.. At 175 there are a few, Foster, Spinks, Moore, Qawi for example.

No, obviously not. He in his prime was much faster than he was later in his career and too fast for both of them.

:patsch I hate Joe but Cleverly is **** fighter, Pascal fights for only 4 rounds and with Joes pace he would win easy wide UD.
