Who is more overrated right now on ESB? Let me say this though. Abraham is a solid fighter but to me is just a very strong dude who relies on his power to overwhelm his weaker opponents. His weak competition has allowed him to get away with this so far. Haye is an excellent cw but he is moving up to face huge punchers with a questionable cw chin and "Sam Peter" type defense. I have to go with Haye. U got people saying he would ko wald in 1 round and beat ali. plus, he's a **** talker
Not many people who are overated win championships let alone defend them and unify them too much luck is needed, i say Abraham by a long way.
I won't rate him as a HW until he's actually fought there properly, it's impossible to rate him at all when he hasn't fought in the division more than once and until he fights someone different. I think it'll all be down to Haye's chin if he's any good at HW.
according to a **** load of people on this forum Haye could beat Toney, Holyfield and Roy Jones. I think that pretty much ends this discussion.
:good Exellent point. No one really rates Abraham that high. Most people don't even think that he's the best in his division. Many Haye backers though believe he's one of the greatest Cruisers of all time, they believe he's so good that he doesn't need to waste his time fighting the no.1 contender at CW, and they believe that he will beat anyone at HW. How the hell can Abraham be more overrated than Haye?
Saying he can beat some old, shot, smaller men is overrating him? Get a grip. He is currently the best CW in the world and would beat those 3 at CW or heavy. Rewind the clock a few years and the story would be diferent, but you can't.
Who said they were old? These were REAL threads discussing Haye's ability to defeat a PRIME Toney a PRIME Jones and a PRIME Holyfield!!!! I'm not the one who needs to get a grip... They DO!!!!! :rofl:rofl:rofl
As I say prime is one thing... today I have him beat all three (fairly)easily. Obviously I misread you as you didn't mention prime. Prime dicussions involving Haye seem a bit silly to me at the moment as we have not seen his best yet, most likely.
