Berto cried foul about Ortiz, then got busted. Peterson asked for testing then got busted. PED users don't seem to be the brightest of the bunch, I don't think you can go by their behavior anymore... Everyone thought it was crazy when those two asked for testing then were the ones busted, I think it's quite possible for Holt to have been talking **** thinking he was safe only to turn around and find out it was him.

I find it weird how the commission have been holding on to the results all this time, and have only bothered to release them now -- and accuse Holt in the process -- when the stuff about PEDerson is leaked. To me, at this early stage, it looks like the blame (or attention) is trying to be shifted away from Peterson. I think in a couple of days, both fighters will be cleared of it. But if you were Holt and you know it was you and it got announced Peterson was announced positive id be silent and just hope they dont realise their mistake, i could see why Holt would take them he didnt have much chance of winning its just the fact its Peterson involved too, if the same thing happened to Berto i don't think anyone would let Berto off the hook and blame the other guy, once a cheat always a cheat

Oh no I definitely get why a lot are immediately wanting to blame Peterson especially when his name was dropped first, hell I did when I first heard it was him.. I just don't think people should completely write off the possibility of it being Holt because Peterson is involved, especially when Dan is saying Gary Shaw has admitted it was Holt's test that came up abnormal.

And yes, I'd have kept my mouth shut if I were Holt as well. Even if he is completely clean and innocent, it's better to leave it alone at least until the dust settles.

I had to reread it a few times too and realized I was wrong. I remember somebody saying a while back that HCG was a masking agent (I think related to the Ramirez case). Essentially because if you take synthetic testosterone long enough, your body will stop producing it naturally and taking HCG will help prevent that. I'm not 100% sure though.

 

Twats. Got a load of grief from friends as I told them it was Peterson. Then later told them it's Holt.
