Rate Rigondeaux as a body puncher?

    Do you think he's the best in boxing when it comes to the body game?

    Top 5?

    Should not be mentioned with the best?

    I personally think he's one of the best, if not the best in body punching. He constantly hurts opponents to the body, I think 9 or 10 of his opponents have atleast been knocked down due to body shots, Marroquin was downed with head shots, not body shots.

    Donaire better be careful, it doesn't matter how good your chin is when it comes to taking liver shots

    He's like Bute, his bodyshots are only devastating when he catches his opponents on the way in. But I'd say he's an excellent body puncher.

    On the contrary it's Rogondeaux that needs to be careful as he's packing some serious glass in his chin, and Donaire could very well be the man that will shatter it and expose him to the world.

    He may have a weak chin, but you as a Wlad fan know better than anyone that a weak chin does not mean he can't be successful. Rigondeaux has wicked skills.

    He is about a 4.5 out of 10 just like he is on average as a fighter. Nonito will expose this guy and show why he doesn't belong in the pro level.

    True, but your chin can only be weak to a point. If Wlad had a chin as bad as Khan, or Kirkland he wouldn't have been able to do what he's done in his career so far. Rigondeaux could very well have a Khan or Kirkland -esque chin for all we know! getting dropped by a journeyman jab is not a good sign!

    Wlad's chin is not as bad as it is made out to be, he had serious stamina issues back when he was getting knocked on his ass. Does he have a granite jaw? Absolutely not. But it isn't the glass jaw it is made out to be, he hasn't been knocked down in like 8 years.

    Rigondeaux got dropped by a JAB from a journeyman, when did that ever happen to Wlad? Besides, Wlad has extraordinary height to help defend his chin, it makes him incredibly hard to hit. Rigondeaux doesn't have that kind of height advantage, has a much weaker chin, and that glass jaw will prevent him from being the best, period. If Donaire connects with anything half decent, bye bye Rigo.

    His bodyshots are disgusting. I'd say he's the best in boxing currently. Some guys bang away at the body all night, but he sets up a couple nasty ones out of ****ing nowhere.

    I love Rigo's style and his bodypunches are great. I see the donaire fight going one of two ways.

    Rigo by UD or Donaire by KO.
