For me (im a younger guy) it was the Brian Vera vs. Andy Lee fight on Friday Night Fights a few years back when Vera got off the canvas to K.O. the unbeaten Lee. Awesome fight and thats when I really fell in love with the sport. Love to hear some of yalls..
For me it had to be Hagler Vs. Hearns... Had watched plenty of fights before hand but this fight happened just about the time I began to actually sit & pay attention to ****.
That sums up the way I watched the Vera vs Lee fight...it wasnt even a very high profile fight but it was the one where I started to really notice the fight game and what it was all about.
In order Barrera Morales 1 De La Hoya Quartey Marquez Pacquiao 1 & 2 Tszyu Hatton more recently Cotto Margarito 1 Hernan Marquez Luis Conception :yep (**** was un-real) Berto Ortiz Salido Lopez 2 Off the top of my head :think
Benn vs McClellan.. Drama, controversy, life and death war, electric atmosphere this fight had it all.. Epic fight tragic consequences..
Im younger aswell, i remember De la Hoya vs Mayorga was pretty exciting, especially the buildup when i was younger. It was no specific fight that got me hooked, i've been watching boxing....literally since kindergarten. I remember watching fights with my dad. Became hardcore probably around 2005- 5th grade for me you can imagine its been a lonely road as a boxing fan, what 5th grader knows anything about boxing
