Chris eubank got me into boxing he was everything a fighter should be.A warrior,fearless,huge character.He fought regulary against all the top contenders and although not a stylist was in a number of great fights.I know others my age feel the same whether about chris or nigel benn.Very hopefull but how about chris eubank for the hall of fame
Didn't have the most exciting style, with robotic leading and laid-back countering. Bit of a stylist. But Hall of Fame is inappropriate because he once said, "I'm not fighting for belts, I'm not fighting for glory, I'm not fighting for the Hall of Fame. I'm fighting for hard cash." Obviously a better boxer than Nigel Benn, but Benn is far more 'HOF'-worthy the manner he shocked the world with the Barkley and McClellan performances, and his throw-back aggression.
If Benn goes in then Eubank has to in my opinion...neither should or will. How the **** McGuigan snuck in there is beyond me
Remeber lads, at the end of the day, its the hall of fame, not the hall of atg fighters. Im not a big fan of the likes of Mcguigan getting in, but if can get in Eubank should.
He kinda did, for the few hours that the card he was fighting on took place anyways. After that it was usually business as usual, and both groups knocking shite out of each other:yep
Surely the hall of fame is based on merit rather than any political or celebrity influence. Should Audley be in there for wowing the crowds on dancing with the stars? How about Haye for sorting all them dinners in the jungle. Vitality for running **** in Kiev? Eubank and Benn should both be in there.
