I have no idea. I just don't know what top ten rated fighter is available for June. Helenius, Chagaev, Charr, Banks. :think
They said a top ten rated fighter. We know that could mean anything, though. Top ten in RING, top ten in an alphabet soup etc etc. Hopefully we find out soon.
I enjoyed that. Theres something gratifying about watching a touted guy you knew wasn't that good get flattened.
Me too. The whole Banks story plus the crazy HBO hype of Mitchell just made me hope Banks got it done. Wilder next :yep
Booth said in the press conference the opponent would be Top 15 and would not be British. Making an assumption Haye is going down the WBC route here's the rankings, WBC Top 15 Champ: Edit: Vitali 1. This content is protected 2. This content is protected 3. Jonathon Banks 4. This content is protected 5. David Haye 6. Tony Grano 7. Kubrat Pulev 8. Manuel Charr 9. This content is protected 10. Tomasz Adamek 11. Luis Ortiz 12. This content is protected 13. Juan Carlos Gomez 14. Victor Bisbal 15. Andrew Wawrzyk The fighters in red have a scheduled fight coming up. Of those that are available Adamek on paper looks like a decent opponent with his wins over Arreola, Chambers and Banks at the higher weight. Edit: Banks holds the WBC International title so he is probably the target. Beating Banks puts Haye third and either Arreoa or Stiverne will drop after losing to each other so Haye would go No. 2. Vitali will probably retire this year leaving Haye to face off against Arreola or Stiverne for the WBC belt and then another crack at Wlad.
Oh yeah thought so Makes sense to go for Banks then and try and get the winner of Arreola/Stiverne Banks fight wont sell though
He should go in with whoever is listed immediately after the Klitschkos in the rankings, After all, that's where a lot of people put him.
Banks is rubbish. He spends most of his time in training camps in McDonalds - I'm sure he was even spotted there once on the day of a fight. Haye would waste him inside two rounds.
