Brandon Rios Looks Weight Drained, Cusses Out Alvarado's Team Member

He doesnt look drained to me... his face looks gaunt but that doesnt mean he is drained.

I get the feeling he has a slower metabolism though, not saying like Hatton per se, but just when he's not in beast training he gets naturally a little thicker.

its a Natural look for fighters, Hell even Alvarado looked like that during the weigh in a week before the fight he looked heavy as ****....

this is simply what happens when guys cut weight... you see it more with guys like Gatti, Rios Alvarado because those guys have high cheek bones

 

Rios hardly is a big LWW. Look at guys like Provodnikov, Peterson or Khan. But he seems to have a hard time losing that flab and not gaining weight between fights.

 

Yeah, i agree with Rios being weight drained. He's a big cholo
who likes to eat and then spends alot of his camp cutting.
It's a career drainer but it's rios' role and it will make him more
$$ than he would ever earn if he fought at 147 or 154 where
he could come in more comfortably. I just don't see him being
competitve at either weight though. Arum should cash him out
in the 24-36 months.

He's on a crash course to become Freddy. This guys
career is just not made for longevity. He's gonna be
spent in the next few fights.

 

Brandon will be stronger this time around he has adjusted to the weightclass now it will show tonight.

He always looks bad like this before fights, but he comes to bring it. This fight will be pure action, Alvarado will start brawling eventually.

 

Rios struggles to make weight he will be at 147 soon enough the only thing keeping him from getting his ass beat is Arum match making

 

Wow, he is looking very gaunt in that video. Moreso than in those photos. I hope he can pull it out. I picked him to win. lol Good luck to both men. I'm sure they'll put on a great show!!!!
