Ward would stink out the joint with his usual dirty tactics and win a decision. However, GGG still has the eraser if he lands that one big shot to put Ward out cold. Ward has been hurt by lesser punchers than Golovkin.
this time I have to agree with michigan moron. SOG is too big ,too strong ,too fast , too boring , he would TKO or UD Golovkin.
A lot of hate for a guy who took the time to post an analysis. On topic, GGG definitely can beat Ward, and the points raised are valid. Ward has also shown to have a shaky set of whiskers, something which is not good versus a lethal (perhaps merely above average at 168) puncher like Golovkin.
Golovkin can beat any of the 154-160 pounders in my opinion, but I don't like him at 168 at all. Could be a good fight down the line, though.
Ward hasnt been hurt since Boone at the beginning of his career. Since then he has faced massive punchers and hasnt been hurt once. Saying Ward has a shaky chin is like saying Ali has a shaky chin because he got dropped by henry cooper early in his career. GGG has beaten a bunch of C level junior middleweights. Ward has beaten legit 168lbers and done so easily. Completely different level. Infact its a disgrace to mention them in the same breath until GGG beats a B level contender in his own weight class stleast Silly thread
