I think he learned it from Leonard, who used to say it. Tyson used it a lot also in interviews.

 

but to set it straight (beb boum) the phrase ***** is before it mean gay. it just meant unknown strange wierd sensation. figthers dont know who they are, where they are at and what they are meant to be doing...and as the word street. it suggests they are walking and not able to do so.

from my street understanding, ***** is somebody that's not straight.

 

***** seems to pretty much mean gay now but it just means not right, in no way offensive to anyone

 

Attention newbies:

A fighter who is stunned and in danger of being knocked out is said to be "on ***** street." This is a very old piece of boxing slang and, to my knowledge, has nothing to do with homosexuality.
