matchroom and sky needed to manufacture a bit of star they only had froch, possibly brook so went with bellew to make up the numbers on the betfair adverts and a bill topper. probably guna go with burns n groves now and see how brook gets on as he can come again if he gets beat

bellews fairly limited n his two biggest fights at home as come up short but matchroom and sky got away with it this far as casuals bought into this bomber image hes probably been found out now after that performance.

im a fan of Bellew but lasts nights performance was terrible loading up with every shot and missing by a mile. He was completely 1 dimensional. to be honest he hasnt boxed great since Cleverly and he looked good against a very basic Mcintosh but since then he honestly hasnt looked great in his last 3. I hope he can make adjustments to his game cos i think he is definately capable. After lasts nights fight i really hope they dont have to do it again i found it hard to stay awake

 

He might be ok if he didn't like twitch before throwing a few jabs... I was with non boxing fans and they asked me ... Why does bellew jerk up n down before coming in with the jab? He was sooooooo blatant every time he tried to set something up, he didn't even go to the body. Please keep him away from Dawson and co.. He needs to tone down his antics n stop giving it the Nigel Benn bollocks, like people have said.... He wouldn't get as much stick!
