lol yeah Im surprised that this is an ol' skool pair, the type who respects each other and appreciates the other in bringing the best out of each other. These fights represents and reveals the true reason of boxing - the Spirit of Competition - **** the bigger money fights, **** the win/loss records, **** the promoters, they were already working out the concessions! Its gonna be in Colorado! This is all about Pride, True Competition, the desire to compete against another who pushes you to your limit. This is Bird vs Magic. This is Ali vs Frazier. This is ****ing Ol' Skool sports! As they said on tv, this is what this sport needs.... please ****ing go away *****s, the best of the sport aint about money....
??? Because Broner offers so much mobility with his footwork....Rios would have a very good chance against Broner's stationary ****.
Wow you still really believe huh? Broner would humiliate Rios, you might want Rios to be this elite guy but he is just an action fighter.
Broner? I think Rios would swamp him a bit in the 1st half, but start hanging out in No Man's Land in the 2nd half, just as he was doing in his Alvarado fight. Alvarado started to pull away, stop to get set, drop shots and move again, kind of. He could have done a better job of it. But Rios wasnt ALWAYS closing down the distance to get inside, especially down the stretch. It was because of Alvarado's power slowing him down and deterring him. Whatever the case, Broner drops power from range, and eventually will be a deterrant against Rios too.
Well, i attribute after-fight adrenaline and dealing with the anxiety of just losing a contest for the first time.... BUT, as you said, he was a poor loser too, trying to spoil the spotlight of Alvarado....
Rios is a berk of the highest order. Very very pleased he lost, he's now got 2 losses as Abril whopped his arse. And this ***** thinks he's in pacquiao and Broners league? What a ****ing hypejob. He's just an American John Murray. And i still haven't forgotten the Freddie Roach mocking. That was disgusting and like Margarito i will forever be a fan of this guy gettin his head punched in. I hope he suffers a Gerald McClellan type injury.
This. Plus, the over was pretty good to me so I'm happy right now:cheers...though not nearly as happy as I would be if I had the foresight to lay money on Alvarado. Either way, I love capitalismatriot.
Yeah, shows you what a little boxing can do. A lot of people accused Alvarado of running(go figure). Now, if Alvarado had of been good at slipping Rios shots and avoided some of the punishment he got, he would have been called scared by some fools.:bbb
