    Absolutely he could, I think a prime Hopkins would at the very worse if they had a 3 fight series win 1, and I back him to win 2.

    Ward would clearly beat him currently

    The Hopkins that bust up Glen Johnson I cn see getting a victory over Ward.
    But it would be a close fight, an incredibly close, and dirty one too.

    Yes, Hopkins was flat-out better than Ward from 1997-2003. He'd win clearly. Ward's more athletic by a hair, but watered down in technical skills.
