Crawford made $125k for the fight while prescott only made 50k. Does anyone else find this surprising?
The only reason prescott is known to people is because he Knocked out Khan that is the only reason if he didn't knock khan out he would have been a ghost
Prescott had a great fight with Alvarado, one I had him dominating, more so than Rios until he was KO'd So quite frankly I don't see how he got the low end of the deal. That said Crawford deserves what he got, he definitely showed he is a world class prize fighter.
Crawford would have got a boost for standing-in + going up in weight. Prescott... I don't know, I would guess Colombian TV rights or something, but I can't imagine that being much.
50k still not bad on undercard fight tv coverage aswell guy can punch but can be easily outboxed (kevin mitchell)
What i don't understand is why was he chasing a Khan rematch when he blasted him in one of the biggest British upsets? His team/promoters coudn't capitalise on that win whereas, Khan went to new heights only to be champion for 3 years, then become cocky, then get humbled and rinse and repeat.
