He got a pass for facing Mundine and losing the WBA title in the process. If he wants the hard earned belt back, he only needs to ask for it and GGG will be in Australia before you know it. But you know it, I know it and every kangaroo knows that Geale wants no part of GGG. None.
Geale has to wait for Soliman's B-sample to get tested and Soliman is fighting against allowing the German drug testing agency to do it. Evidently Soliman did take some kind of supplement, but it's not listed on the IBF's banned substance list. So now he wants another company like USDA to test his sample because they don't test for that particular substance.
He can fight GGG for his former belt, no need for Soliman or his bull**** tests in a WBA fight, not that he's gonna pass the B. Let's not excuse Geale for facing a **** opponent when Golovkin is available, there's a world title, fame and money at stake, **** the IBF. GGG on the other hand can't fight a top opponent even if he wants to cause they all have a Soliman. **** that ****!
HBO should be able to dangle enough cash to make guys want to fight GGG. He should be able to do better than Vera, at least get a top 10 guy.
Absolutely, HBO will be key for the big fights. It was smart business for GGG to get a HBO date with Proska as they knew the HBO folks and the fans would fall in love with his in your face KO style. Won't be long before this guy is PPV material. All it will take is a KO annihilation of Chavez Jr, Martinez, etc and the rest will be history.
Glad to see someone is on the ball :good Have heard Soliman's 'B' sample will be tested very shortly, perhaps as early as tomorrow. Once that is sorted Geale can focus on his next opponent, whether it be his mandatory Soliman, or someone in his place because of the drug test.
HBO already said no to Vera once. Dirrell would be nice but there is more chance of that ***** Geale maning up. Someone said Rubio has the fight if he wants it.
At least it will be against a MW. Vera is tough and on a good streak. It would at least show us where GGG is really at.
Now Macklin has tweeted that he's willing to face GGG in June. Then again so has Sergio Mora. Doug Fischer reported that Mora turned down sparring with Golovkin for Ishida because he wants to fight him without the head gear on. If Sergio didn't stink out the joint so much, it might be worth seeing him get laid out by GGG. I'm still holding out hope for Hopkins to take Gennady up on his offer at 175. Maybe September/December after a little more exposure?
theres alot of legit fights out there for him . first off i like the vera fight. yes there could be better fights out there. but i wouldnt complain . then there is serg/murray, he can fight the winner of that. macklin is ready to go i think that could be good. how bout a guy like quillin? or rubio? theres plenty of fights to be made and im sure there are sum 154's that are goin to move up soon
LOL did you see his fight 3 days ago? If not, check it out, it's the reason he was vetoed by HBO for the January undercard date. Lets hope they can do much better.
