When is Enzo back on commentary? It was only a little bit of drugs that he probably didn't even realize...

Last time out was the best I've seen Enzo box for years, which made that joke stoppage all the worse. After all the work he & Lockett had done tweaking his game he must have been gutted when IJL stepped in, again he was boxing superbly last time out.

Jesus Christ Enzo mate give it up.

I like Maccarinelli, he seems a really nice and genuine fella. That said, he needs to stop boxing because he's going to keep getting hurt and embarrassed. Ian John Lewis was a twat with stoppage in the last fight but he probably did Enzo a favour and spared him an eventual beating.

Maccarinelli should retire and maybe open a gym or something to train fighters if he wants to stay in the sport. Fighting himself if just becoming uncomfortable to watch now. I remember his fight with Shane McPhilbin, ****ing hell it was like a horror movie. Seeing a poor bloke getting his face punched in by a big fat bloke, almost turned it off it was so bad to have to see. It will happen again soon if he carries on.

That stoppage is just cringeworthy for everyone involved. People make mistakes though, should be a NC. IJS knew fine well he'd ****ed up though.

I wwonder if Enzo knew about this fight in advance. He's got less than 3 weeks to make 175lbs, big ask if he wasn't he training already.

just watched that again hahahaha ****in hell what was he thinking he realises hes ****ed up as he jumps infront of enzo and does nothing

i dont mind this rematch should be an entertaining fight and is a decent addition to the card. regardless if people think enzo should still be fighting or not

Obviously this was a terrible stoppage. One thing I would add is that people commentated on referee not knowing maccrinelli in the fight with alexander frenkel when he let it go on and that referees should be looking to protect maccinelli given the knockouts he has faced.

In this case john-lewis knew him and panicked and given damage he has suffered in past it was lewis-john looking to protect a fighter who has been hurt badly in the last.wrong stoppage but honest and i felt for the referee as think he is a fantastic referee.

Delighted this fight added to the bill as was so close to sending my tickets back when groves and burns taken off the bill as it is a quality undercard now.

on a side note what has happened to alexander frenkel 23-0 and not though since demolishing enzo!
