Nothing special who became 2 division world champ and a legit top5 HW contender even though he's now on the decline. You can't hate him for taking tough fights, winning, but failing to look spectacular (in HW). He achieved more than anyone suspected. His heart is HOF worthy. I really hope he's not over yet. A rematch with Arreola would be thrilling, so would a fight with Povetkin and many others not named Klitschko.

He is still a top 5 HW,despite fighting at 175 during his prime.

I dont see exactly what the issue is.

He'll never beat a Klitschko...then again, who out there will?

I hope he gets to fight Haye next, that would be awesome and right for both career wise.

Adamek wasnt all that impressive as soon as he moved up to Heavyweight.

he fought a couple of lower level and past it fighters until racking up a good win over Arreola but the extra weight slowed him down with each fight.

Moving to Heavyweight was the biggest mistake of his career, he had everything going for him back down at Cruiserweight

Huck, Hernandez, Afolabi, Cunningham, Jones, Jones jr, Erdei, Fragomeni, Wlodarczyk, Maccarinelli, Green, Lebedev, Tarver, Arslan, Garay, Braithwaite . . . . . all of these name **** over his wins at Heavyweight with maybe the exception of Chambers and Arreola.

To me it looked like he lost his explosiveness gradually until he could barely get any offense going anymore without having to lunge.

Adamek is a warrior and I don't think the problem is his age. Its his weight gain Adamek at 214-117 was fast and had good movement. Adamek at over 220 is just slow, it barley added any power. And its not like Adamek is shot he put up CLOSE fights against Eddie and Cunningham, don't matter what the decision was it was a CLOSE fight.

I think at this stage of Adamek's career his looking at ether fighting Povtikn for the wba title, or waiting for Vitali to retire and fight Arreola for the vacant WBC which is a fight he believes he can win .

Expect Adamek to fight Johnathan banks II on HBO on a double header or something.

Adamek was great at LHW, good at CW and average at HW.
