Like McGrain I'll go for the guys who kept it at their own range rather than could fight anywhere. So Chang wouldn't qualify here, Pea is closer.

Jones, Monzon, Canto (at his best)

He's probably too passive-aggressive to be recognised amongst the very best ring generals, but he definitely toyed with guys in there and did what he wanted most of the time.

Shittiest finisher ever though, that should take some points off.

Not really he was a savage finisher, ask Hurtado.

Valero and David Haye are the shittest finishers ever.

    Willie Pep:

The round was usually won before it was anywhere near done. Pep did not have to throw a whole lot of punches. He just moved where he wanted and hit you when he wanted.

He`s obviously one of them, its impossible to say anyone is the greatest ring general though, there`s just far too many things involved.

Monzon, Ali, the aforementioned Benny Leonard...Whitaker has nothing on them.

He's among the best along with in no real order. Willie Pep, Benny Leonard, Joe Gans and Floyd Mayweather.
I consider boxers such as Ray Leonard, Ray Robinson and Roy Jones to be more "Athletes" than "Ring Generals"
