    It just occurred to me, why not stream this on Top Rank Live? :huh

    How isn't that a more effective means of distribution than a premium cable giant's 2nd-string channel at some random time of day on tape delay?

    Martirosyan vs. Maciel (if it's even still on) and Vazquez Jr. vs. Ishimoto won't be aired on the delayed coverage, nor either of the Penalosa vs. Sithsaichong matches (is that one set of brothers against another? :think Interesting) nor the Melindo vs. Seran flyweight bout.

    I believe the Martirosyan-Maciel and Vazquez Jr. fights were supposed to be aired on UniMas(Telefutura) later that night. But Martirosyan-Maciel is off because Vanes injured his thumb in training.

    But yeah, this tape-delayed business is horse****.

    oh god. :patsch What a terrible commentary it will be that night. I thought Merchant was retired and George was getting into boxing promotions.

    Well I suppose it will be sort of interesting seeing how Merchant and Foreman interact years after they were the top guys on the HBO commentary team.

    Actually, not even the Pinoys will be getting it live.

    ABS-CBN Channel 2 has it on tape delay, Sunday morning in the Philippines.

    It seems the only live outlet is BoxNation, who just announced they'll be covering the card live from 2:30pm (10:30am EST, 10:3pm in Macau)

    It's "a very special presentation of boxing on HBO" according to the promos. Larry Merchant and no HD isn't too special.

    I'll admit, though. I'm much more likely to watch it at 2 pm than 2 am.
