If all of this, about the amount of tickets being sold so far, is indeed true then that's absolutely good, real good for a fight that's taking place on regular premium TV(Showtime). But also keep in mind that the fight is taking place in San Antonio, Texas where obviously the're all going to come out and root for Canelo which probably wouldn't be the case if it were Vegas, Atlantic City or New York. And even Trout is going to have more than a share of rooting fans coming to watch him win in San Antonio, Texas as well.

Nothing sells out properly anymore, its just people buying tickets and selling them on other websites. Happened with the Froch-Kessler fight. There's never that much of a demand, its just robbery and inflation.

This is bigger than MAY DAY, in my opinion. Not only is this a big unification bout. This is to determine the future of boxing. Is Canelo the next De la Hoya? We find out April 20th!!!! Go, Trout! Won't be mad if Canelo wins though. GREAT FIGHT. :)
