yeah I thought that too and in the first few rounds Bellew was litterally running up to Chilemba pushing him against the ropes with his elbow keeping him in place and hitting him and Ian John Lewis was only warning Chilemba even though it was all done by Bellew. :S

Jim Watt only pointed it out once when he said I didn't think Chilemba initiated that clinch

It was completely intentional and the push was after the bell too, that was a blatant points deduction would have been if Chilemba did it.

****ing infuriating to rewatch. He's an absolute joke. Has no ****ing clue what he's doing, not even sure of himself. Dangerous man to have as the third man in the ring.

IJL is completely incompetent I still cannot believe he gave Tom Dallas the

decision over Zach Page - then again the venue and Dallas were based at

Chatham and IJL lives up the road in Gillingham.

How is he a so called "Star Wheferee" ?

How the **** can a former fighter of 20 pro fights who's had KO's both for and against himself not know when its too early to stop a fight ? :huh

That's perhaps the most maddening thing when it comes to IJL as a ref, he was a ****ing pro himself.

IJL is without any doubt, the worst referee, in the entire boxing business today. I can't stand seeing the **** in the ring, he's ridiculous, constantly stopping fights prematurely.

It's absolutely ridiculous with the way ref's are let off.

Think of it like this, boxers who take any sort of performance enhancement drugs, whether they're recreational or not, are slammed hard. Something like a year to two years ban, maybe more. Their win is immediately NC'd, purse is withheld and live with the reputation of being known cheaters. We ask, why are bans like this inflicted? Because it's giving a boxer who has worked his arse off cleanly is at a disadvantage because of the other individual who is using performance enhancements.

Now, a judge (The absolute wanker that is IJL for example).. referee's fights and prematurely stops bouts which are given a conclusion based on this mishap, is given nothing.

I make the comparison because the consequences are similar to those of a cheater and a referee who has made a major mistake. Firstly, the fighter who is prematurely stopped is not only robbed of a win, his entire position has become affected due to negligence. The fighter's career is affected, his financial stand point is affected, his reputation and so on. Likewise, with drug users, the effects are similar, so my point made, why are referee's allowed to continue refereeing when such calls can cause significant damage to a fighters career?

Why are they not hit with penalties? Why don't they get their purse taken away and a poor stoppage mark on their record book? They affect the fighters in the same way a drug using boxer would affect themselves as well as their opponent. Yeah you can say that "he's just human" but then so is an individual who uses PED's - are their mistakes forgiven? Hell no. Fact is, if you can't call things correctly and have a habit of jumping in like a f*cking idiot, then you're not fit to referee and need to be thrown in the wrestling side of 'sport' because that's the only place where incompetent **** can be conceived.
