Maybe Commonwealth title shot against Billy Joe Saunders? That's where he's at now, especially considering WBA are scrapping interim titles.

The LMW IBO title is vacant I suppose...

    Spot on. :good
All dislike aside, he's a long way from his best, has less money earning potential than ever, and has plenty of money for life.

Retirement is a very sensible move right now.

I reckon it's not far off anyhow.

The commonwealth title had always been beneath Anthony , ( just ask Teke he will explain it all ) , I would like to see young Jarrod Fletcher be the one to tell Choc it's all over for him via a savage left hook , that way the money that fight earnt Jarrod could sponser him and his dad a couple of years here in the UK or Germany , IMO with day in day out training and a high quality level of sparring Jarrod could be your new Geale .

The commonwealth belt is garbage and means nothing in boxing today.

Even if a lot of you think Geale genuinely beat Mundine, to make out like he put in a performance worthy of retiring is even more incredulous.

Sox, boxers put their lives on the line every fight. To joke about one of them dying is out of order.

Agreed regarding the commonwealth belts but Mundine torched a Union Jack very early in his career to exempt him from ever having to fight a Pom for it and never have to fight here . Clever falla indeed .

Btw , Yiung kids here like Groves & Saunders would beat the breaks off Mundine here in 2013 .

Do you even understand why he torched a Union Jack?

No Australian has to fight in the UK.

Groves is not in the same weight class as Mundine and is largely untested, although he looks very good, his win against Glen Johnson is largely irrelevant. Booth has brought him along well but you can't call him world class at this stage.

Saunders couldn't knock out Matthew Hall. His best win is Bradley Pryce. I question his power against elite opposition. To suggest he could compete with Mundine at this stage is a fantasy land claim.

If you were famous enough for anyone to care what your beliefs were then that comment might sound less ridiculous.

Because the UK is the home of boxing? Another ridiculous comment. A PPV star, 3 weight world champion HAS to fight in the UK against novices/prospects to succeed? That is one of the dumbest comments I have seen on the internet.

Mundine is and was not a true 168lb fighter, that he did so well at that weight is amazing.

Nobody, I assume even you are not that limited in boxing knowledge that you think Saunders could outbox Mundine. If so, then just wow you have no clue.

Mundine is famous in parts of straylia only who gives a **** what dribble he mumbles

Boxing is the home of boxing modern day boxing was invented here .

 good old 20 always game for a laugh , Mundine is gun shy he wouldn't land a jab on Saunders , Geale bottled him up we all saw that last time he ran out .

Why should a domestic level boxer go to England? Choc knows his best bet is to stay in Australia. He's one of our best domestic boxers. Ever!
