Yeah me and a couple of my friends just ordered ringside seats! I've been to Radio City Music Hall before for the NFL Draft so I know it's a great venue to watch an event in.

Rigo sounds a bit like a thug.

I won't be disappointed either way, cause I'm not here for a fighter but for a fight.

Yeah, whenever you have the Top 2 fighters in the division fighting it's going to be one special night.

Anybody know when the 2nd episode will start airing? I've only seen re-runs of the first one so far.

When you train at high altitudes, there is less oxygen in the air. This makes it harder to breathe and what the human body does to compensate for this is create more red blood cells so that more oxygen can be extracted from the air.

When you come back down, the increased red blood cell count will stay there (which gives boxer's a good advantage in terms of breathing and stamina) for a while before the body realizes that there is no use for the extra red blood cells and goes back to normal.

EPO is a drug that increases the amount of red blood cells in the body without needing to go at a high altitude. This is what Shane Mosley was caught for. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythropoietin]
"Erythropoietin is the hormone that regulates red blood cell production."

  11. I've watched this and there is still nothing to convince me Rigo has a chance.

HBO should just show all the bad bits of Donaire's training regime and make it look like Rigo is unstoppable like they did with Pacquiao- Margarito.

Yeah your right, training at high altitude gives you more red blood cells, then when you go back down to sea level you have extra red blood cells and are able to fight stronger and last longer.

When you eat food you use that energy....
Why are you telling me this ****? Of course I know what EPO and RBC are and what the alleged benefits of altitude training are you moron.
There's more to it than that, didn't you see the studies I posted? Why don't you email them and let them know about your esoteric knowledge

Rigondeaux has a chance because anytime you step foot inside the ring, there is always that chance anybody can win. I do agree with you however that Nonito is simply too great right now and Rigondeaux needs to box the fight of his life to have any chance.

He knows his material and you have to respect that he has a college degree. With that being said, I do believe Victor Conte's train high and sleep low approach is really beneficial anyway you look at it.
