Helenius said after the fight he needs to change the "tapeman" again. Team Sauerland is not able to tie Helenius hand wraps properly! If done right it is supposed to help prevent injury. That has been a big concern the hole of his Sauerland career. He broke his hand in fights against Gene Pukall, Gbenga Oloukun, Dereck Chisora and now Michael Sprott. Helenius has talked about his coach not sharing his concern over the condition of his hands. That you can also see in his last fight where in the end of round 8 his coach Ulli Wegner is asking him "What´s Upp" Helenius says that his hand is broken. Wegner is saying "Stop that crap". Give more of that right hand of yours. The right was broken. Helenius has simply so much power in his right hand - the wrist cant take it. Especially when he hits the opponent in the forehead or in the crown of the head.

Seems like Helenius is still provoking feelings.:twisted: That´s what he is supposed to do. Must say though that when one is able to read his interviews and hear him talking his native swedish, finnish or his fluent german one gets more realistic view what his boxing is all about. (Helenius is not very fluent / eloquent in english). He has still got a lot to give the HW scene. Hope he is soon back in action.

 

Wegner is a dumb trainer... He just said something like: "ah you and yor hand again, you have always something to complain". They now want to make a special training for his right hand... we will see if this works.

 

They need to get a special program for getting rid of that idiotic trainer. Almost all of Wegners fighters are starting to loose. Edmund Gerber, Arthur Abraham, Marco Huck ... The man is getting old. Helenius needs to get rid of him and find a new trainer.

Maybe Helenius have problems with his hands because the gloves are not heavy enough and not enough pads inside.

Read my comment, i said he was one dimensional before his injury, all his injury has done is prove it, it was just the big right hand what else has he got?

 

Hmmm a good chin, a good work rate (normaly, its hard with only one arm left) and a good jab.
He won easy against Sprott with one hand. Also not that bad.
But at the end Helenius is more a puncher and not a technical boxer! Helenius is a puncher without his punching hand right now!

 

Helenius has proven that the hype from 2 years ago was unwarranted, and those folks were wrong.
