    Of fighters with reasonable footage, I`d say its between these guys... Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong, Ezzard Charles, Roberto Duran.... probably.

    Really hard to argue against Armstrong. Half the titles = pound for pound supremacy.

    Sugar Ray Leonard could make it which is amazing because he has a 40 fight career. But his wins Benitez,Duran,Hearns,Hagler are incredible for such a short career.

    Not sure if you`re being sarcastic but just in case you`re serious I`ll chip in.... he has SRR at no1 & Ali at no8, he put up his top 10 p4p list without SRR or Ali in it.

    Leonard makes my top 10 but he`s definitely not top 3, which is what the thread asks.

    I think he could make it. I always rank beating greats as the criteria to being a great, and he has that. Some could say he beat Hearns in 1981 before Tommy was really experienced, but he still won and beat those 4 guys. If we look at history, not many guys beat that level of ATG in such a short career.

    :yep His record is underrated, when you look at who he beat he must be up there!
