Moreno fell off the map, what is he up to? Has he announced a fight? I know he said he was going back down to BW in the post-fight conference after the Mares fight, but I haven't heard anything from him since then.

I'd love to see him fight Santa Cruz.

I'm not sure. As good as Moreno is, its going to be very hard for him to come back from that loss. From Cory Spinks to Michael Nunn, fast, relatively soft hitting, safety first southpaws have had a hard time coming back once they've lost a big fight.

Still, I appreciate Moreno's craft and would love to see him against Santa Cruz or even Montiel.

Nunn wasn't soft hitting. I get your point but Moreno didn't get KO'd like these guys, his fight with Mares was actually pretty close. It was a punishing fight but there's no reason to suggest he won't be the same.

He is back at 118, where he can easily dominate now that the big cats are moving up

I remember this guy, people on esb had me convinced he was going to beat Mares, i always thought Mares is too aggressive for him and would win but i actually thought Moreno was special, esb biasnedness is dangerous

Moreno will go back to dominating 118, and I suspect he will for quite some time.

    I thought he'd win too.

But, if you take away the highly iffy KD and the complete bull**** point deduction, I had it a draw. And considering Mares should have lost at least one, probably two points with a proper ref, I'd have had him winning.

Not a dominant performance from Mares.

Didn't think it was that close tbh, thought Mares won by a few rounds but the point deduction was dodgy and so was the knockdown but still dont think Moreno did enough to make it close

Moreno is still a top fighter and will continue to fight the best in his class. He lost to a guy who is simply underrated.
