    Kessler - World Class.
    Green - Means nothing.
    Bika - Decent.
Abraham - Froch & Dirrell toke everything from him.
    Froch - World class.
Dawson - It was Dawson's own fault. Ward did what he had to do, good win on paper. But still something to take notice, that he was so dehydrated.
Bute - He should've fought Bute, but Froch destroyed him and got huge props for doing so. If Froch beats Kessler, you could question whether Froch actually have a better resume than Ward, despite the fact that Ward beat him.

Let's be fair here. After the S6, Ward has done nothing in this division. Froch & Kessler would annihilate Dawson in two rounds. But on paper it's still an impressive performance, i'm not hating on Ward here, he is P4P material, but i feel that his resume are built of two fighters, that people (Specially in the U.S) really underrate. I have Ward pretty high on the P4P list, must of all because he beat Kessler and Froch, other than that, there is nothing really special about his resume, his personality after the Froch fight have defiantly have annoyed me. Your thoughts ? :bbb

I do not question Ward's skill one bit, i kinda expect him to take the P4P #1 spot nor do i hate him. But i feel that either his resume is overrated or Froch & Kessler are underrated. Specially Froch, he is also defiantly P4P top 10.

Stop naming weight drained zombie Dawson as a good win for Ward plz, that's a tainted victory and a fight that should have never happened. Anybody would have beaten THAT Dawson

I think Ward is the best at 168 by a long way but seriously when did Bute refuse to fight him ?

Got a source for that all I remember was Ward saying Bute had to fight some A level guys before he would fight him after saying the Super 6 winner should face Bute.

Good post Persian, agreed. Not fighting Bute was ridiculous.

My problem with the way Ward dealt with Bute is that Ward himself said that the winner of the Super Six had to fight Bute, yet after he beat Froch and won the tournament all we heard from him and his management and promoters were excuses as to why the fight with Bute shouldn't happen.

To remind you of what Ward said about this: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/boxing/2011-05-12-andre-ward_N.htm

Ward insists he's not looking past the tournament but thinks the winner should fight Bute (28-0, 23 KOs), who was not invited into the Super Six. "Some people would argue that the Super Six winner is the best; some would argue that Bute wasn't there so they're not the best," Ward says. "As a competitor, you want to face the best. He's the main guy out there, so you want to go right at him."

    And from Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO_H29ikNzs

“Lucian Bute, man he’s doing a good job right now. He’s winning, he’s winning the way he’s supposed to win with the caliber of fighter that he’s fighting. That’s definitely somebody that after this tournament is over that should fight the Super Six winner. Because there’s too much argument; there’s too much confusion over who the best is. So the winner of this tournament should fight Lucian Bute for the Ring Magazine title.”

Having done nothing to make a fight with Bute after winning the Super Six, Ward gave this bull**** excuse for not doing so of "wanting to build the fight" as if the hype for Bute wasn't at the highest it had ever been and as if a fight between the two of them wasn't as big as it was going to get.

Ward had no official contact with Bute since December 2011 days after he won the Super Six. He refused to fight Bute because he wanted a break - and probably he'd earned one - but then he had no right to come out with his bull**** excuses for why the fight hadn't happened the second Bute signed to fight Froch, he had no right to act as if he'd been ready and willing to take the fight at a moment notice when he was the one who ended negotiations in the first place, and he had no right to **** all over the Froch/Bute fight and act as if Bute had blown him off for an easier opponent when he had made himself unavailable and forced Bute to go for the next best available opponent.

Dont get me wrong, Ward is the best Super Middleweight in the world today and one of the best fighters in the world period, but he is a massive bullshitter.

If that was the case then why didn't Ward say that when Bute signed to fight Froch? Why didn't Ward say "Bute wanted too many options and we couldn't come to agreement" instead of going on about how he "just wanted to build the fight" and how he was "dissapointed" that Bute had signed a two fight deal with Froch instead?

Ward wanted none of that left uppercut or left straight, he made that clear.
